The eco-friendly british alternative to

New to Flamewave's family of Cleanline convector fires is the Solo - a contemporary freestanding unit that is the ideal answer to large contemporary openings and
recesses or even as a walk-around feature.

Shown right floor mounted, an optional plinth/log box is also available (see over). The Cleanline Solo wafts warming air evenly around the room and burns CO-neutral wood or smokeless coals.

All Cleanlines can be fitted with a gas conversion for convenience town use, where solid fuel burning simply isn't a practical proposition. The contemporary Cleanline family of open convector fireboxes is the acceptable face of modern open fires.

With fossil fuel prices rising, wood burning just has to be the answer for the eco-conscious home owner. Couple this with the romantic look and crackle that only wood fuel can supply and you have to decide that there's no better time to order a Cleanline fire!

The cleverly designed box-within-a-box principle gives higher levels of performance than those of a conventional open fire. As the diagram on the left shows, cooler air from the room is warmed as it is naturally convected around the convection chamber in the Cleanline before returning it to the room - extracting more heat from your fuel. An added benefit comes from the gentle and even spread of warmth around your room - reducing the 'hot front-cold back' effect of many open fires. All Cleanlines come complete with a log tray, fuel retaining fire bars and a tool.

This means they are ready to burn wood without the need to purchase any additional elements. Inset models are available with a 3-sided frame for low level installation or 4-sided for hole-in-the wall placement. The fires are finished with a wipe-clean matt black powder coat finish as standard or an optional brushed stainless steel frame can be fitted to all inset models.

Fire bars are available in matt black or brushed stainless. Accessories include multi-fuel grids - where solid-fuel or a log/solid-fuel mix is to be used, clip-on spark guards, highly realistic gas conversion kits - natural or L.P.G. and gather hoods, for inset models - where a direct connection to fluepipe/liner is required.
