And it should be of the finest quality. With these three qualities in focus, Vipp is proud to introduce the new Vipp 441 laundry basket.
The Vipp laundry basket has been designed by Vipp Design Lab in Copenhagen. It is inspired by the classic Vipp pedal bin, which was created in 1939 by Vipp's founder, Holger Nielsen.
“The vision was to create a laundry basket that combines functionality and aesthetics. A laundry basket with an idiom perfectly in line with the other Vipp products and forming a whole, while still fulfilling its purpose.
With its clean lines and fine details, the laundry basket can function as a piece of furniture in the bedroom or in the bathroom,” says Head Designer Morten Bo Jensen, Vipp Design Lab.
The Vipp laundry basket is available in white or black lacquered steel and rubber, with soft rounded shapes that link its design to the Vipp pedal bin. The lid is in brushed stainless steel, perforated to ensure proper air circulation for the laundry.
The laundry basket has a dual-section inner bag for simple laundry sorting. The inner bag is removable as well, making it easy to carry the laundry to the washing machine.
The inner bag is edged with a rubber ring at the top which keeps the bag in place when inside the laundry basket.
