FINALLY, A PET SHOW FOR ALL PET LOVERS

The Great British animal-loving public will get the perfect chance to indulge its ‘pet passion' at the UK's first dedicated consumer, pet exhibition - ‘The Ultimate Pet Show' taking place from 2nd - 4th May 2009 at the NEC Birmingham.

‘The Ultimate Pet Show' will have absolutely everything for everyone who loves pets, from pet products, accessories, services, information, organisations and associations for pets of all kinds including dogs and cats to ponies, fish, birds, reptiles, small animals and exotics. In fact, all creatures great and small!

This unique show will give exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their products or services to over 15,000 animal lovers, who will be attracted to the show through an exciting combination of seminars, features, demonstrations and clinics, which will all be crammed with ‘need to know' information.  There will also be a variety of celebrity appearances including top TV vet Marc Abraham who will be involved in hosting a selection of talks and workshops over the course of the three day event.

Marc said “‘The Ultimate Pet Show' promises to be a fantastic event for all the family. From seeing such a variety of animals through my work as a vet, this all encompassing show is long over due.”

‘The Ultimate Pet Show' already has support from Jollyes Petfood Superstores, the PDSA, National Pet Month and thepet.net.   Rob McIntyre, Managing Director of Jollyes, sponsor of the main seminar stage which will be called ‘The Jollyes Lifestage' said “We're really excited to be involved! The ‘Ultimate Pet Show' offers a great platform to raise our profile amongst UK pet lovers.”

Feature areas that are open to sponsorship include; live activities and performance areas, an animal themed adventure area, an information and advice centre and a Creature Comforts Café - complete with nutrition advice for pets as well as tasty snacks for visitors!  For more information on sponsorship opportunities contact Helen Arnold on 01789 450574 to discuss tailor-made opportunities.
Nicole Cooper, founder of ‘The Ultimate Pet Show' said: “There are many consumer facing pet shows in the UK, in particular for dog owners, but we spotted a huge gap in the market for consumers who are interested in a variety of pets, from the cute and cuddly to the weird and wonderful!

We are expecting a real cross section of consumers to attend ‘The Ultimate Pet Show' - from families, single pet owners and multiple pet owners to companion dog owners, pet lovers, trophy pet owners, exotic pet owners/collectors and pedigree pet owners.”

‘The Ultimate Pet Show' will also offer a variety of seminars, features, workshops and clinics including;

• Talented Pets Competition
• Talks and workshops with expert and celebrity speakers
• Pet grooming showcases and classes
• ‘Catwalk' fashion for four-legged friends and their owners
• Exercise and agility classes and demonstrations
• Opportunities to meet famous pet owners and their (sometimes equally as famous) pets!
• One-to-one access to our expert panels of vets, trainers, breeders and specialists
• Animal Adoption Area

Commenting on their support of the ‘Ultimate Pet Show', Hilary Nelson, PDSA Marketing Manager, said “PDSA welcomes the opportunity to be involved in this exciting new event with responsible pet ownership as its central theme. A key part of PDSA's mission is helping people ensure their pets lead active, happy and healthy lives.  We look forward to meeting lots of pet owners at the NEC next May.”
