Bespoke Bed Linens

Acton and Acton Limited have been manufacturing innovative interior textiles for thirty five years.

The last 5 years has seen us developing product for walls, under our Registered Division "Multych*" derived from the old word "Triptych" (a picture or relief carving on three panels). In this case the intention is to use more than three panels.

We know that employing multiple panels (Tex-Tiles) can create stunning wall decoration and so it has proved by using "Clusters" of Tex-Tiles* the appearance of a room can instantly take on a new ambience

An interior designer (you) using Tex-Tiles* can highlight a new piece of furniture . A bright red sofa for instance or a recess can be made into a display worthy of exiting comment, whilst an architect could transform a busy noisy corridor into a peaceful passage.

On the other hand an artist would use Tex-Tiles* to create single dimension wall sculpture. The potential is endless.

We have by choice kept our "Photo Shoot" minimal, to leave your imagination to run riot. Our wall is white, think of the brilliant combinations if you introduce colour to the background! You can also determine the size of the "cluster" by varying the margin space and layout, for example vertical or horizontal and sequence of colour, the choice is yours.

If all that is not enough - let us introduce Sound Control
"Sound Bites"* If you are serious about sound we offer the very same Tex-Tiles* - but - behind the scenes is a 30mm deep panel of high quality sound absorbing material
"Pyrosorb - S"
Absorption co-efficient BS EN 20354 (BS 3638) 1963

30mm -   : 0.10 : 0.26 : 0.45 : 0.62 : 0.75 : 0.87 :

Note: the spacers between wall and frame are soft woollen felt.  You know where reverberation trouble spots are in your room
(opposite speakers) etc. try strategically placing a "Cluster" of "Sound bites Tex-Tiles" in those areas and listen to the controlled sound.

If that is still not enough - we have "Bacteria Control"*, the same  Tex-Tile* only this time "behind the scenes" there is a passive filter which kills 99% of known bacteria including MRSA. We refer to this as "atmospheric scrubbing" it relies on the natural flue effect in a living area.  For instance, if you lift a picture off a wall you will find a shadow of dust (containing bacteria). This has been deposited by the natural flow of air in the room. When you have a cluster of Tex-Tiles fitted with the filter system they are very effective.

Note: The filter Fabric is Gradus x Static, it is a safe natural anti-bacterial material consisting of fine horizontal pure silver threads woven into a Trevira CS Base. It works naturally through ionisation as the electrons release of silver smothers any micro-organisms that "land" on the fabric. This process is purely mechanical; therefore it does not replace one "anti" with another, unlike the numerous chemical processes on the market.

Finally: we can mount customers own fabric and/or images in Tex-Tile frames. The material needed is 10" x 10" (25cm x 25cm)  Please note, printed canvas from your picture can only reflect the same quality as your image.

Tex-Tiles* are made from selected sustainable soft wood and are untreated (Natural). The fabric range of plain dyed colours is a canvas construction made from expensive cotton/linen union 63% cotton 37% linen. The images and colour woven fabrics are 100% Cotton - 100% Polyester or Polyester/Cotton blends.

The size of the Tex-Tiles is 9" x 9" - 230 x 230mm with a frame depth of 1.3/8" - 34mm.
